The Ayyan App for Sabarimala Pilgrims and the Forest Department The app’s services are offered in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, and Hindi, among other five languages. Services offered on Swami Ayyappan Road, Pampa-Sannidhanam, Pampa-Neelimala, Erumeli-Azhutakadav, and Pampa-Sannidhanam The routes Pampa, Satram-Uppupara-Sannidhanam are accessible through the app.
The app provides a variety of alerts on specific routes. The app can be downloaded from the Play Store or by scanning the QR code at the Kanana Path gates. It is compatible with both online and offline usage.
The app offers details about public restrooms, service centres, medical emergency units, lodging, elephant squad teams, fire department, police aid post, eco shop, free drinking water distribution sites, and the distance between one location and the next centres. The app has details regarding the Sabarimala temple, emergency helpline numbers, and general instructions that Ayyappans must follow.
The ‘Ayyan’ app, is available in six languages: English, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, and Hindi.
The app was developed under the leadership of Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary West Division with the technical assistance of Leopard Tech Lab Pvt Ltd which is based in Kanjirapalli.
